One of the factoid-parrot recommendations for fleas was dishsoap. I can handle that and Id already tried rubbing cat mint. Open mindedly I gave some brillo a whirl. it works fabulous. The other sites tell you it has to be this brand or that style. Nah, just any old plain degreaser, any color or brand. It penetrates flea exoskeleton and kills them in seconds.
This works great for the fleas in direct contact, a squirt of dawn kills hotspots instantly. The sucky part is once your cat dries out the fleas come right back. theres nothing residual to keep them away and eventually the soap will dry your cats scalp out which leads to scaly, scabby skin.
